Last week I had an idea for a series of work, and this saturday I went out and took a few test shots to see how it works......Whilst doing that, I took this photo.
This man runs a shop in my hometown, making frames. I asked him whether he did any photography...he told me that some 15 years ago he had a film camera that he loved - but then his flat was broken into and the camera was one of the things stolen.
Since then, he's only ever purchased one camera (a kodak), and only takes the odd photo when on holiday.
